THE OPPORTUNITY As a Compensation Analyst, you will be responsible for helping with the maintenance and processing of internal commissions data and ensuring our internal Incent org runs smoothly and with 'reference' quality. You will have the chance to learn about the Revenue Operations ecosystem within a complex and forward thinking software environment with Salesforce at the core. About the role - Manage and understand all commission plans according to documented sales plans and ensure compensation is properly accounted for and settled in the appropriate timeframes - Manage the accuracy of commission expense outputs as well as the reconciliations - Ensure accuracy of data and inputs - Support the sales team by resolving commission payment inquiries - Maintain a deep understanding of Xactly Incent and source data (Salesforce) - Develop commission communication materials, train members of sales and field operations departments regarding commission calculations and policy changes as appropriate - Draft and maintain commission plans - Proactively identify issues and make recommendations for new programs and process improvements - Conduct what-if scenarios for commission expense calculations - Work in partnership with sales management in modeling, developing, and modifying sales commission plans THE SKILL SET: - 3 years of experience with Xactly Incent or similar compensation tool - 3 years of experience with Finance and Revenue Operations - You will be comfortable working with lots of different departments and demanding internal customers - Experience using Salesforce CRM is preferred but not essential - Skilled at Excel - Degree educated and/or relevant work experience - Detail orientated with strong follow up skills - Excellent organizational and multitasking skills - Hard working and self-motivated - Excellent spoken and written communication skills - Flexible to work occasional long hours at month/quarter end to cope with large volumes We are seeking someone who wants to make a real impact with a rapid growth software company who is excited to tackle new challenges and opportunities while acting as an articulate team player who is passionate about information security and is excited to spread the Xactly love. WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU'LL: - Participate in Internal Trainings, which will introduce you to our products and processes. - Begin ramping up to helping with commissions processing activities as soon as training is completed. - Interact with Sales, Revenue Operations, and different stakeholders at Xactly WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU'LL: - Assist in all commissions processing - Start to update internal commissions documentation - Helping resolve queries from the sales organization - Starting to consider design/systems changes that will help improve our internal org WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU'LL: - Be competent at handling all commission queries - Own the day to day running of payment runs/system fixes etc - Provide input for overall process improvements - Regularly maintaining internal documentation WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU'LL: - Mentor new hires and teach best practices to lead the team towards future success - Provide input for overall process improvements Is this role not an exact fit for you?
