Reporting to the Internal Audit Director, the Internal Auditor will be responsible for all aspects of execution of the Company's Sarbanes-Oxley compliance program for assigned process cycle and operational audit projectsResponsibilities:* Assist in SOX planning and scoping activities.* Perform SOX and ITAR audits worldwide.* Collaborate with SOX Finance and IT Compliance team members globally to understand, document in-scope site process controls, IT application systems, and automated application and IT general controls.* Work closely with process owners, perform process walkthroughs, test of design (TOD) and test of effectiveness (TOE) to evaluate compliance of the implementation of internal controls, segregation of duties, IT general controls and assessment of SSAE18 reports.* Identify control gaps, make necessary process recommendations to ensure process alignment to organization's goals and objectives and the mitigation of risk.* Communicate to the process owners and SOX management any control deficiencies, provide recommendations for remediation and assist with control remediation process.* Perform evaluation of related SSAE18 reports from third party vendors.* Facilitate external audits with performance or independent testing and coordination with process owners.* Provide direct assistance in testing controls, key reports, automated controls, and controls surrounding the implementation of new applications and systems.* Participate in operational audits as needed.* Establish and maintain strong relationships with business process owners.Desired Requirements and Experience:* BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent experience.* 3-6 years relevant experience in auditing and/or accounting.* Certifications (CIA, CPA) desirable or actively pursuing CPA, CIA or CISA certification.* Ability to travel domestic and international.Skills / Behaviors / Competencies:* Technical proficiency in auditing, either through experience in public accounting, internal auditing or some combination.* Strong understanding and experience with SOX compliance audits, control assessments, and related documentation.
