We are seeking a high-energy, driven professional with natural sales instincts to join our team as an Inside Sale Representative. This role's primary focus will be to drive new business, including outreach to cold prospects, appointment setting and direct selling over the phone. Successful candidates will warm up new prospects and interact with potential customers primarily by phone with some email. Ideal candidates should have exemplary listening and communication skills, as well as flexibility and persistence. GREAT, SO WHAT'S THE JOB? A successful Inside Sales Representative would: * Conduct inbound/outbound lead qualification, discovery, appointment setting, prospecting, and closing * Qualify a large amount of provided/discovered leads as sales opportunities through follow-up calls and emails, cold calls, social media, LinkedIn * Research accounts, identify key players, conduct prospect client analysis, generate interest, and qualify leads as part of the selling process * Set up meetings/appointments or calls between (prospective) clients & local markets as appropriate * Build rapport with prospects and create a comfortable environment that will enable them to have a dialogue about marketing needs * Use probing questions to help the customer identify their needs; understand where the customer is in their buying cycle and adjust your sales approach to match them * Build an appropriate solution to meet the customer needs based on their unique business needs * Overcome customer objections and provide the appropriate features, advantages, and benefits of the products and services in order to close the sale * Explain the features and benefits of products and services to prospective and current customers * Provide accurate quote and order information to the customer * Verify and confirm the customer order information so as to prevent service delivery issues, internal inefficiency, and customer dissatisfaction * Understand internal promotions and leverage those to close sales * Maintain contact with growing book of business monthly to analyze and adjust marketing strategies as needed to grow revenue * Manage unique customer campaign details from design to geography monthly * Achieve quarterly quotas in partnership with field sales efforts in building a sales pipeline, helping foster deal closings, and ensuring lead goals are met * Stay up to date with new Valpak products/services and new pricing/promotional programs * Report daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly lead qualification, appointment setting & contact results * Meet or exceed sales goals on a consistent basis * Accurately track and record customer communications, prospect/client needs, and conversation activity in Salesforce.com * Performs related work and additional duties as needed or required while reporting to the Sales Development leader THE FINE PRINT * 1-2 years professional sales (inside or outside sales) or sales development experience * 1-2 years digital media or traditional advertising related experience ideally * Remote Position * Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish), but not required * Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred * Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role with a proven track record of over-achieving quota goals * Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls) * Persuasive, strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day with a polished telephone manner * Excellent customer-facing verbal, listening & written communication skills * Strong internal motivation with entrepreneurial drive and a creative thinker * Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, competitive and dynamic environment * Experience working with Salesforce.com (or similar CRM) and MS Office Suite strongly preferred
