The Digital Media Producer | LX Analyst will be responsible for editing and compiling existing videos for use in educational projects. They will be responsible for capturing live event content and then producing videos for future viewing, and other video and multimedia projects as assigned. The Digital Media Producer | LX Analyst will work with Faculty and Instructional Designers to create and develop creative digital solutions for online and technology-enhanced courses to accomplish learning objectives in classroom and online content, or as administered through the learning management system. They will help establish the UCR digital learning presence throughout our curriculum, and explore innovative approaches to transform content delivery and partner with our faculty to evolve and enhance how we deliver digital content to improve learning. While managing the day-to-day activities and video production, they will explore the impact of emerging technologies through video and multimedia solutions to continue to create an immersive, transmedia learning experience for our students. A cover letter is required for consideration of the application. As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to present a digital portfolio to the search committee. This position is currently funded for 2 years, and is subject to extension based on the availability of continued funding and program needs. The budgeted range is $50,000.00 - $74,300.00 and is based on education and years of related experience.

Working knowledge of the technical tools and platforms required to achieve the delivery of engaging and media-rich online learning content, and of trends in the use and effectiveness of educational technology and learning.
Working knowledge and skills with relevant business software systems.
Working knowledge of functional area and understands how work within one course may impact work being done on other courses or in other areas.
Working knowledge of instructional design principles and learning strategies, including needs analysis, backwards design, learning outcomes and assessment design, and instructional approaches including lecture, discussion, activities, projects, etc.
Working knowledge of organization policies and procedures, including policies that impact online course development.
Working knowledge of adult learning theories and education methodologies.
Demonstrated analytical skills to conduct analysis and develop recommendations, demonstrating organization and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in planning, resourcing and monitoring effective design life cycles of training and other learning and performance solutions to support the organization.
Proficiency in analytical, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, collaboration and negotiation skills.
Working knowledge of e-learning strategies including but not limited to courses (e.g., processes and technologies, etc.).
