SWHS consists of two acute-care hospitals: Inland Valley Medical Center and Rancho Springs Medical Center.
Inland Valley Medical Center
A 122 bed acute care hospital which features the regions only Level II Trauma Unit and is the county-designated Paramedical Base station and Southwest Riverside County's only Center of Excellence in Weight Loss Surgery.
Rancho Springs Medical Center
A 120 bed acute care hospital which includes the region's largest birthing center along with the area's only NICU in combination with Rady Children's Hospital and the region's first da Vinci Robotic Surgical Program.
As a staff member providing clinical expertise you will be responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, and quality and efficient services. Corporate Human Resources
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
Ø Ability to perform CT and radiology exams independently.
Ø Ability to follow physician's orders.
Ø Ability to administer contrast material.
Ø Ability to be proficient in Radiology related computer skills.
Ø Familiar with cross-sectional anatomy
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Ø Minimum one-year experience as a CT Technologist preferred
Ø Experience in an acute care facility preferred
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
Ø Diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology.
REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS
Ø Active California Radiology Technologist (CRT) license
Ø Computerized Tomography certification ARRT (CT) required within one (1) year of hire
Ø Current BLS certification required
Ø Fluoroscopy license required within one (1) year of hire
Ø Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license preferred
Ø Venipuncture certification preferred
Ø Must have good hearing, sound dexterity, and visual acuity.
Ø Capable of extensive walking, standing, pushing, and lifting.
Ø Must have no limitations that would restrict job performance.
