TRD is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Engineer, EngineDesign, Bottom End Job Description:
Supplyfully validated specifications (drawings, models, calculations, and procedures)for engine procurement, assembly and racing in support of company’s goals.Prepare reports and coordinate delivery of technical information required bythe company’s management for communication of validated specifications andresults to internal or external customers. Support the company’s EngineEngineering with testing, reports, and analysis. Responsible for bottom endsimulation working including finite element analysis (FEA), fatigue analysis,friction reduction and reliability improvement. Develop simulation models toachieve performance and reliability as predictable as possible.
: Bachelor’sdegree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or foreignequivalent; plus 3 years of experience as a Design Engineer or EngineCalculation Engineer; and 3 years of experience in each the followingskills: FEA (ABAQUS); 2D/3D CAD (DS CATIA); 1D CFD; AltairHyperworks; AVL Excite; Altair Simlab; GT-Suite; Ricaro Valdyn; Femfat; Amesim;Constructing and solving: numerical models of complex dynamic systems formulti-body simulation; nonlinear structural FE models including componentcontacts, high strain/plastic deformation, and nonlinear materials; thermal FEmodels and Fatigue evaluation; Handling implicit and explicit solvers for dynamicand structural FEA problems. Correlating simulation models, specifying testingand data requirements. Post process and interpreting mode and experimental resultsfor component design. Documenting and disseminating modeling and correlationprocess methodology.
