Come grow with us, where we develop and nurture the next generation of leaders.What you'll do in this role:* Supports Operations across multiple shifts, including monitoring contingent and permanent labor to ensure associates' engagement.* Communicates effectively pass-down information to all departments and shifts.* Assists with coordinating and meeting labor requirements across all shifts and departments.* Ensures effective utilization of direct and indirect labor across the organization.* Follows-up on any pending items between staffing agencies and the site's leadership.* Assists with following up on attendance and timekeeping with permanent and contingent workforce.* Assists with counseling of contingent and permanent associates.* Follows-up with Sr. Leads, Supervisors, and other site leaders as needed on open tasks and items associated with the workforce.* Assists all departments with ensuring the provision of a safe work environment for associates by monitoring safety practices and assessing and eliminating hazards.* Assists in coordinating activities with other departments and shifts.* Supports and coordinates training in multiple areas and departments as needed.* Perform changes in the workforce as needed to meet business metrics and goals.* Assists with the orientation of new associates on the start date to welcome them into the organization.* Gathers feedback to improve operations.* Maintains effective communication with department associates to support performance metrics and associate recognition recommends/participates in disciplinary reviews of associates.* Assists other departments and with other tasks as needed.* Manages the performance of temporary agencies and supports procurement with follow-up to ensure correct invoicing.* Completion of required paperwork, reports, and administration of timekeeping.* Coordinates round-table meetings with leadership.* Performs other duties as required.What you'll need to be successful:* Efficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)* Strong team player* Handling of confidential information* Be detailed oriented* Ability to work in a fast paced environment and successfully multitask* Fluent working knowledge of Google (gmail, calendar, drive); Concur; SAP; Time Management* Strong customer service orientation and problem solving skills* Ability to work independently set and manage changing priorities and solve problems utilizing sound judgement and be proactive* Strong written and verbal communication skills requiredWhat we do for you (just to list a few cool ones):* Offer extremely competitive benefits including: Health, Dental and Vision coverage.* Fitness club reimbursement - $350/ Individual & $500/Family* Starting day one, 401K match (up to 7.5%) and discounted stock purchasing program (15% discount).* Our commitment to diversity and inclusion includes four employee resource groups: Scotts Women's Network, Scotts Black Employee Network, Scotts Veterans Network and Scotts Young Professionals.* Generous vacation day policy in addition to 11 holidaysNot interested in this role?
