This position supports quality inspection and objectives of the organization in a management capacity by developing, implementing and maintaining quality assurance systems and activities. Develops, implements, and coordinates product assurance program to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates. Assignments tend to be of moderate complexity, diversification or expense. Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and process to meet goals outlined. Normally receives instructions on new projects or assignments.
- Provide quality support for gas/liquid analyzer and medical device portfolio products.
- Ensure that all applicable regulatory standards and directives are applied and managed, including ISO 9001, NEC 500/505, FM, UL, CSA, ATEX/IECEx, ISO 13485, US FDA, MDD/MDR and other in-country regulations.
- Maintain compliance and continuously improve the Quality Management System
- Support all third-party inspections and audits
- Perform supplier audits
- Responsible for in-process and final quality inspections
- Oversee receiving inspection
- Support Management Review, Training, Post Market Surveillance, and Complaint Reporting activities
- Report to Director of Quality
- Performs other duties, as needed.

- BS in related technical discipline
- 3-5 years of analytical instrumentation/medical device product experience
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, MDD/MDR
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Certified Lead Auditor preferred

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in a related positions and 3-5 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret various business documents, technical procedures and government regulations. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and response to questions before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
