CDL Class B Route Driver Local Airgas Dry Ice - Sylmar, CA #32312 Airgas Dry Ice is a leading manufacturer and distributor of Dry Ice in North America. Job Summary: The Class-B Route Driver position will deliver Dry Ice in a 26ft Box Truck with liftgate in Sylmar and greater Los Angeles areas and cover about a 100-200 radius per day. Records deliveries and pick-ups on an Mobile load manifest. Listens to and resolves service inquires and complaints. Engage in loading/unloading truck procedures. Performs pre and post trip vehicle inspections, documenting deficiencies and ensures all safety items are in good working order. Maintains neat, clean and professional personal appearance, and maintains vehicle appearance in a professional manner. * Schedule Start Time: Between 6am and 8am * Work Days: Mon - Fri with some weekends * Stops: 10 - 15 stops per day * Avg 100-200 miles per day * 1 overnight route maybe required per week * Some overtime could be available and or required Airgas offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes optional * Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, AD&D, as well as Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance. * We also offer 2 weeks Vacation accrued in the 1st year, Sick, Paid Holidays, and 401(k) Retirement Plan with company match, * Tuition Assistance and other perks to take advantage of through our strategic partnerships! * Airgas is a highly safety driven and customer service oriented company.
