Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation is a not for profit corporation that exists to provide medical services, research and education. The foundation provides the infrastructure for the delivery of physician services, and contracts with a separate corporation comprised of physicians and other care providers to deliver the clinical services. This multi-specialty foundation will provide a platform from which new physicians can be recruited to continue to provide physician services in a nonprofit, community setting. A Sleep Lab Technologist performs comprehensive polysomnographic testing (overnight PSG, MSLT, MWT) and analysis, and associated interventions (CPAP, Bi-level, AutoSV, oxygen supplementation) under the general supervision of a Chief Polysomnographic Technologist and/or the clinical director (MD, PhD, DO) or designee. Able to take patient vital signs accurately. Recognizes cardiac arrhythmia. Demonstrates organizational, computer, interpersonal and technical skills to complete quality studies in a timely and accurate manner. Treats patients with care and respect. A Sleep Lab Technologist can provide supervision of a Sleep Lab Technician Trainee. Follows guidelines published in the SPMF Sleep Lab Policy Manual and the SPMF Sleep Lab Technical Policy and Procedure Manual.
* Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or registered through the AASM as a Polysomnographic Technologist.
* CA Medical Board License as a Polysomnographic Technologist
* Maintain current CPR or BCLS Certification
* Minimum 1 year experience
