Product Manager - Energy Storage - East Coast

Responsible for growing the market share of SMA storage and off-grid products in the American market, consistent with business unit strategy. Duties include identifying market opportunities, analyzing market for future products, creating the value proposition and implementing market launch plans. Also included strategy for the American markets.
Manages product portfolio for the North American Large Scale Storage market.Works closely with the sales organization and with the Business Unit Large Scale and Project Solutions to identify market opportunities and to promote storage solutions.Acts as project manager for launch during early stages.Performs market and competitor analysis.Becomes key expert on battery storage and builds relationships to battery vendors resulting in business enablers.Actively tracks and impacts applicable standards and regulations. Active participation in standard committees is desired.Collaborates with Marketing to execute campaigns and trade show events.Develops strategy and roadmaps in alignment with BU and identifies new R&D needs.Reporting to the Business Unit in a matrix frame.Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or manager Position Requirements: Bachelors in engineering or work equivalent; Master’s preferred.
