Looking forward to having you join the SF Express family!We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Supply Chain Manager to join our growing team at Los Angeles to own the transportation of devices across various programs. This role will require working with business teams across the company and around the world to figure out supply chain solutions for new products/programs and existing operations. The primary function is to define and deliver global solutions that aid in the speed and scalability of Key for Business and our global operations partners.Responsibilities:* Execution of Supply Chain Management process, and organizational and technical activities* Understand client's business needs and lead the efforts in developing a business strategy, operating model and process definitions to address the business issues* Manage competitive sourcing processes, RFP's, supplier selection, and contracting processes.* Conduct market analysis; evaluate demand pooling opportunities and effectively synchronize supply with demand.* Improve the supply chain performance through improved supply chain planning practices.* Oversee creation of processes and methods to gather supply chain data; Process data, identifying problematic areas and suggesting improvements* Design and implement necessary supply chain optimization projects* Develop requirements and standards (e.g. procurement, shipping, etc.)* Assess vendor operations (e.g. freight) according to quality benchmarks and standards* Work with IT professionals to implement efficient systems* Work with Team to reduce claims and/or damagesBasic Qualifications* Bachelor's degree with 7 to 10+ years' experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Transportation, or Inventory Management* Supplier/vendor relationship management experiencePreferred Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other technical field from an accredited university* 7+ years of experience in supply chain functions in a major international logistics company* 3+ years of experience in program/project management role requiring cross-functional coordination* Experience building programs in fast-paced environments* Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and analytical platforms, including but not limited to the ability to analyze data using pivots and V-Lookups* Strong written and verbal communication skills
