Overview The Placement Clinician supports child welfare and juvenile justice involved youth, ages 13-18 and their families. This position works alongside highly trained and highly skilled Enhanced Resource Parents. We are hiring for both monolingual (English) and bilingual (Spanish/English) positions! Seneca supports clinicians towards licensure and beyond. We provide individual and group supervision, regular clinical case conferences, and licensure and renewal courses led by field experts. Expenses such as outside trainings or licensure fees can be mitigated though your clinical training stipend, and you will receive a $4000 salary increase upon getting licensed. Responsibilities * Function as the team leader and coordinate all treatment and placement activities * Design and implement each child's treatment plan in conjunction with the treatment team * Assist in screening and assessing of RFA parents as needed * Coordinate all activities involving the birth family (including counseling, court appearances, home visits and reunification efforts) in conjunction with the treatment team * Provide in-home training and support to the RFA parents during weekly meetings * Provide weekly support for each child/parent and visit child in the home at least once per week * Attend all program staff meetings, treatment reviews, IEPs and other agency meetings as necessary * Provide direction to treatment team on clinical issues, casework issues and written reports for each case * Part of the Rapid Response Crisis on-call calendar * Meet at least once per week with supervisor * Chart weekly progress notes and all other documents needed for treatment services, including assessments, diagnoses and treatment plans Qualifications * Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapist, or related in field of social services to meet CCL requirements for 'FFA Social Worker' * Must be eligible to register with California BBS * One year experience working with youth in the Foster Care system strongly preferred * Bilingual (Spanish/English) abilities a plus! * Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team * Good organizational skills * Valid CA driver's license and insurable under Seneca Family of Agencies insurance policy * Clearance of TB test, fingerprints, and any other mandatory State/Federal licensing or certification requirements Schedule * Full-time * Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings and weekend days as needed Benefits * Annual performance evaluations provide the potential for a generous salary increase each year * Relocation assistance may be available * Comprehensive employee benefits package, including 75% paid premiums for medical and fully covered dental, vision, chiropractic, acupuncture, long term disability, and life insurance, as well as 50% paid premiums for dependents * Employer-paid Employee Assistance Plan * 403b Retirement Plan * 5 weeks of flexible paid time off * Excellent clinical training, individual and group supervision, and assistance toward licensure. * Training stipend and professional development opportunities * Opportunities to develop specialized skills, including clinical supervision and evidence-based practices * Abundant promotional opportunities across the agency in California and Washington
