Two or more years of experience in pediatric inborn errors of metabolism, including enteral and parenteral pediatric nutrition intervention necessary to apply. Must be familiar with interpretation of PKU and other lab results and adjusting diet accordingly. Recent experience with a variety of metabolic and pediatric formulas, nutrition care process, and pediatric hospital inpatient and outpatient clinic experience preferred. The job will include case management including ordering medically modified food and assisting with metabolic formula orders. EPIC experience hightly preferred. Must be a Registered Dietitian and will need to have or apply for a NPI number.JOB SUMMARY:Level IResponsible for the nutritional care of inpatients and outpatients as assigned. Conducts nutritional assessments, designs and recommends plans of care, evaluates and monitors nutritional intervention. Provides nutrition education to patients, families and staff. Functions as a member of multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
