Job TitleElectronics TechnicianJob DescriptionIn this role, you have the opportunity toPerform failure investigations on worldwide returns of failed parts. You will receive failed parts and analyze components down to the component level, to determine the issue.You are responsible for* Performing complex technical functions such as set up, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing and troubleshooting of electronic or electro-mechanical components and systems* Working on assignments and providing broad consultation, to get a clear view on WHAT has to be delivered and complex analysis of the available data in order to decide HOW to best carry out the assignment.* Performing component level device removal, component soldering and electronic repair.* Developing and documenting test procedures.* Finding solutions by involving data from multiple resources using Root Cause Analysis.* Being proactive in identifying problems, formulating alternatives and recommendations.* Developing and introducing new supporting sub-processes and improving existing processes.* Initiating and running small improvement projects and acting as an informal resource or (functional) supervisor for less experienced colleagues.You are a part ofOur Therapeutic Care business, part of the Connected Care business cluster, which is expanding access to and quality of respiratory care, resuscitation and emergency care solutions. You will be reporting directly to the Manager of Field Investigations.To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:* Associates or Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or 5 + years in an Electronics Technician role* 5+ years technical experience, preferably in a regulated environment* Experience with SAP or TrackWise (required)* Demonstrated experience documenting and organizing test data/lab notes and conducting root cause analysis of electronics/electro-mechanical systems to component level* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics Utilize various electronic test equipment, such as meters, oscilloscopes and power supplies* Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with engineering and management as needed* Familiarity of 5S and Continuous ImprovementIn return, we offer youThe Opportunity to sharpen your talents with new challenges in our dynamic organization.
