Supply Technician

Supply Technician
The Supply Technician is responsible for all technical and administrative supply management and support of the NITE/SCTTR contract. Duties include:
1. Property and inventory control of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), consumables, and spares.
2. Transportation and logistics.
3. Shipping, storage, and receiving.
4. Calibration of test equipment.
5. Purchasing.
6. Management of the SCTTR Working Fund and Petty Cash.
7. Assisting with accounts payable.
The Supply Technician will coordinate with the all departments as may be required to support the SCTTR operational schedule, as directed by the OM&L Contractor Division Manager.
If performing purchasing duties, the Supply Technician will coordinate with requestors and management to ensure that all procurement policies and procedures are adhered to in preparing purchase requisitions and purchase orders.

Required/ Preferred Qualifications:

Three (3) years’ experience in the operation of storerooms, inventory control systems and shipping/receiving systems.
(b) Three (3) years’ experience in supplying of solvents, office supplies, nuts, bolts, electronic components, packaging materials, etc.
(c) If performing a purchasing role, (3) years of experience in procurement of commercial items in accordance with Reference (b).
(d) Desirable: Associate degree in business or other formal training in the supply field.
The Supply Technician must be capable of sound judgement and decision-making skills; he/she must be capable of working independently.
Preferred:  Maximo experience
Must posses the ability to obtain an Interim Security Clearance (or transfer) in a timely manner, and maintain a US Government (DoD) Secret Clearance
