OnTrac is looking for our next Fleet Administrative Assistant. The  Hours are Sunday-Thursday 3PM-11:30PM (hours and days may flex depending on volume/season) 

What you will do as a Fleet Administrative Assistant:

  • Field telephone calls and perform routine data entry - entering operational detail reports into OnTrac’s propriety operations software; FastTrac. Maintain hard copy files post entry.
  • Significant data entry involved; entering specific details provided, relating to equipment, drivers, load data, etc.
  • Previous experience with Linehaul dispatching programs is a plus.
  • Acts as point of contact for notification of any facility equipment issues; responsible for reporting to maintenance.
  • Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program.
  • Skills and Competencies required for this important role:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor in a warehouse setting
  • Proficient in data entry; speed and accuracy. Strong 10 key skills preferred.
  • Confidence and ability to be assertive when needed
  • What you need to be successful as a Fleet Administrative Assistant:

  • Minimum of two (2) years administrative or clerical experience, Fleet experience preferred
  • High School Diploma is required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
  • Ability to read and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply strict confidentiality rules to daily workload.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Provide excellent Customer Service to Internal and External Customers.
  • Proficiency in Windows applications: Word, Excel, and Outlook. 
  • Work Environment:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
