Job DescriptionOlgoonik is an Equal Opportunity Employer EEO AA M/F/Vet/DisabilityOverview:Provides direction and supervision of operations in the warehouse specific to Receiving-Delivering functions. Perform the following functions for Receiving:* Provide receiving support services for all material received for customer, to include classified material and up to Secret, according to current guidelines and instructions. Conduct physical inspection of incoming cargo/shipment from government and commercial carriers* Report within two hours of discovery of any damaged materials/equipment.* Mark and identify damaged materials and equipment.* Input receipts to the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (Navy ERP) System and Receiving and Delivery Service (RDS) System.* Enter tracking data from Government and Commercial Bill of Lading into Navy ERP and RDS as proof of delivery upon delivery.* Perform the following functions for Delivering:* Provide delivery services for all material to include classified up to Secret according to current guidelines and instructions.* Pick-up material property from customer delivery points and/or warehouses and deliver material to customers and/or warehouses.* Ensure customer signs for documents showing proof of delivery upon receipt of material using scanners and Common Access Card (CAC).* Schedule material pickups and deliveries using Government provided database/ applications.* Communicate/coordinate with customers on matters related to the status of incoming and outgoing material shipments and the pre-screening of assets prior to pick-up.* Verify at the customer's location those hazardous materials (e.g. batteries, ink and/or toner cartridges), hard drives and any memory; have been removed from all equipment prior to acceptance.* Prepare materials and equipment for delivery to customers as defined within daily schedule.* Off load commercial delivery vehicles, operate material handling equipment and delivery vehicles observing all occupational Safety & Health regulations.* Have a valid California motor vehicle license, valid forklift licenses up to 35K, and Class C license and comply with any other Naval Facilities Command requirements in effect at NIWC Pacific locations.* Have driver with required current certification in accordance with California Occupational Safety & Health Administration and Naval Equipment (MHE) which includes forklifts, Shelving carts, Pallet Jack, Hand Trucks, Service and Stock carts and other utility carts IAW Ref. 2.14 OSHA 1910.178 Power Industrial trucks.* Obtain security clearances to comply with 2.15 SECNAV Manual 5510.36 Department of the Navy information Security program and 2.34 DoDM 5220.22, Volumes 2 for the handling and transportation of classified equipment, materials and documents.* Maintain Security and accountability of all material and equipment from receipt to delivery in all operational areas.Supervisory Responsibilities:There are no supervisor responsibilities associated with this position.Education and/or Experience:* One (1) year experience as Lead* One (1) year experience performing Receiving-Delivering functions.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:* A good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.* An understanding of the needs of the organization serviced.* Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.* Must be able to speak and read English.* Must have proficiency with Microsoft Suite of products including Word and Excel.* Must demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a team.* Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under a minimum of supervision.* Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast paced environment on multiple projects, and have a strong attention for detail.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:Hazmat Certification or training maybe required.Security Clearance:SECRET Level Required* Must have a current US Government SECRET Personnel Security Clearance or be able to successfully complete a U.S. government administered Investigation.* Must be a U.S. Citizen.* Must also be able to maintain a US Government SECRET clearance.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
