Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as an Electronic Technician based out of Woodland Hills, CA. What You'll get to Do: Under minimum supervision, perform routine technical functions related to the support of development engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, and assembly of electronics and Electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models or specialized test equipment. Applications may include analog and digital type circuits. Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform routine testing, checkout, troubleshooting, prototype building, and simple developmental engineering tasks. Utilize routine development or diagnostic equipment including oscilloscope, VOM, DVM, signal generators and similar test apparatus. Responsibilities are limited to engineering development and excludes production activities. WOODLANDHILLS Basic Qualifications: * Active DoD Secret Clearance * High School Diploma and 4-6 years minimum experience in electronic manufacturing * Experience interpreting schematics, technical drawings, diagrams, and instructions * Experience reworking electronic PCB assembly * Strong soldering skills * Wire harness assembly skills * Mechanical assembly skills Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in repair and rework of high density electronics PCB assemblies * Testing of hardware and development engineering activities such as test and checkout of electronics and Electro-mechanical systems * Experience using basic development or diagnostic equipment including oscilloscope, VOM, DVM, signal generators and similar test apparatus * Technical Degree What We Can Offer You: Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment that encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company.
