Supply Chain Solutions Associate Manager, Business Intelligence As part of the Supply Chain Solutions Group, the Supply Chain BI Associate Manager will develop, design, implement and deliver the primary analytical product for all aspects of Supply Chain. They will coordinate with IT to initiate and validate the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from multiple source systems to one Enterprise Data Warehouse. They will perform data wrangling, descriptive and exploratory analysis, and visualization on both a recurring and ad hoc basis, in support of the SCBI Manager and the Supply Chain user base. The Lead SCBI Analyst will oversee a team of analysts from the I,II, and Senior levels. They will evaluate and advise other team members with thought leadership and additional insight. They will be heavily involved with the BI Manager for prioritization and streamlining of workload, and will be responsible for the most advanced data-to-insight projects. Essential Functions * Analyzes quantitative and qualitative Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Finance data * Applies advanced analytical methods and tools to develop and compute measurements on key performance throughout the Supply Chain * Prepares, designs, and manages tabular and list reports as well as develops reports and score cards and dashboards * Compile and analyze data from multiple supply chain systems * Designs, presents, and supports reports/dashboards/data modules to be simple, yet impactful and provide results that are tangible and meaningful. * Ensure seamless transition of business process during change management. * Compute reporting metrics and develop and distribute user-friendly reports using * Stays current on emerging tools, techniques and technologies that can support and mature the existing state of Business Intelligence * Develops and maintain Supply Chain information databases for use by multiple departments and internal customers such as Supply Chain, Finance and Manufacturing. * Structures and manages master data using best practices for use in multiple information systems * Designs visualizations using best practices for impact, aesthetics, meaningfulness, and audience. * Computes reporting metrics and develops and distributes user-friendly reports using a variety of technologies, primarily those from the Microsoft Office Suite and Tableau * Performs day to day and other frequently periodic tasks in support of analysis and reporting needs for management * Designs visualizations to not only provide insight, but also strives to develop a thematic approach geared towards aesthetic, functional, and advanced user interface and interactivity * Performs data manipulation techniques such as cleansing, standardization, binning, indication and imputation * Please note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Qualifications * Required: * 4 years - Experience working in Supply Chain, IT, or Finance * 4 years - Experience in Data analysis and Statistics * 4 years - Experience with structured and unstructured data and databases, and business intelligence solutions * 4 years - Relevant business knowledge and experience * experience may include a combination of work experience and education * Preferred: * 6 years - Experience working in Supply Chain * 6 years - Experience in Data analysis and Statistics * 6 years - Experience with structured and unstructured data and databases, and business intelligence solutions * 6 years - Relevant business knowledge and experience * experience may include a combination of work experience and education Competencies * Proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Access) * Advanced Excel, Access and EDW Skills, previous experience with Oracle or other ERP system, preferred * Intermediate or greater report building skill in IBM Cognos 10+ preferred * Strong capability to understand structure and extraction of raw data from relational databases. Understanding and usage capability of SQL a must * Advanced computational and analytical skills * Advanced technical capabilities, such as experience with R or Matlab. Fluency in at least one high level programming language such as C++ or Python is a plus. * Excellent presentation, communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills. * Proven ability to think critically about subject matter, and provide meaningful insights after analysis * Advanced practical knowledge and experience in the following areas and tools: Business analytics, relational databases, structured and unstructured data, applied statistics, data science techniques and application, Python, R, VBA, Access, Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, and IBM Cognos. * Performs work with minimal supervision. * Handles most issues and problems without referral to higher level staff, but refers complex problems to higher levels, and reports all problems to the appropriate manager * Strong verbal, writing, and presentation skills to communicate effectively with all levels and functions throughout Supply Chain.
