This means conducting business with integrity, accountability, and professionalism while supporting our global community.As Sales Director Compute and Networking Business Unit at Micron, you will be responsible driving consistent longer-term requirements from the customers into Compute and Networking Business Unit and other Micron groups. Additionally, you will be responsible for aligning with the Compute and Networking Business Unit on annual plans and strategic initiatives, setting quarterly plan, and communicating the execution of the plan in the quarter.Responsibilities and TasksResponsibilities include but are not limited to* Drive sales strategies and alignment for key segments from Compute and Networking Business Unit to sales team* Accountable for working with Compute and Networking Business Unit on finance lock and sales teams on sales lock - Assure quarterly execution (CSP creation)* Manage day to day Sales operations activities* Align with Compute and Networking Business Unit on FY Business Plans and sales response* Alignment with Compute and Networking Business Unit on channel optimization and coordinating with / across sales leadership (CPG, OEM Sales, Enterprise Sales, Specteck, distribution)* Help regional sales on longer term strategies i.e. design wins, forecast, account plans, and market share growth* Lead sales activities associated with the Customer Business Reviews: driving the process and actions - where appropriate attend Quarterly Business Reviews for defined accounts* Accountable for aligning to the Compute and Networking Business Unit and segment sales strategies & plans* Common processes/best practices/feedback to Compute and Networking Business Unit and into other Micron groupsRequirementsEducation* Required: Bachelors Degree, Business, engineering* Desired: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience, Technical FieldQualifications* Have prior semiconductor sales experience - preferably with Client PC, Cloud, and Enterprise Compute market experience* Have prior experience in distribution sales* Previous Sales Operations experience a plus* Have knowledge of Micron product lines* Have previous experience in managing cross-functional work teams* Have previous success in managing a dotted line matrixed organization* Have previous experience working with internal and external senior management* Strong Communication, and presentation skillsWorkplaceExtensive Travel RequiredAbout UsAs the leader in innovative memory solutions, Micron is helping the world make sense of data by delivering technology that is transforming how the world uses information.
