MemorialCare's IS trainers are responsible for developing the knowledge and skills of our workforce. They ensure that our workforce can meet its current and future business objectives and deliver quality services that meet our customers' needs. They develop and facilitate training strategies and plan initiatives working with clinical, patient access, financial system, managed Care, or Analytics/Business Intelligence groups. The IS Trainer for Tapestry has a wide range of duties in training instruction, training administration, and training documentation development. They help revise existing material to reflect the needs of the audience and application enhancements or system upgrades. They collaborate with more advanced Trainers to build training scenarios to support end user and IT training and to develop system workflows to integrate system functionality with operational procedures. The IS Trainers for Tapestry also works with internal/external vendors to provide supplemental and on-going training programs to end users and IT builders as needed. Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job * Conduct training programs for end users and internal Tapestry builders. * Assist in the personalization of systems, specifically managed care systems. * Maintain expertise and competence in the assigned software applications, specifically Tapestry, CRM, and TapestryLink. * Offer feedback towards the development of instructor-led training and web-based curriculum. * Maintain appropriate instructor manuals, training materials, and job aids. Experience * Minimum of 1-year experience in building or training for the Epic Tapestry application or any Epic application training preferred. * Minimum of 1-year experience in instructional design and development of web-based and e-learning preferred. Education * Associated degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required. * Demonstrated knowledge of the Epic Tapestry application or with 'Certification' and/or 'Proficiency' status for Epic cirriculum training or application build. * Proven experience in instructional education, training, and/or customer service preferred. * Past success working independently as well as in a team situation while meeting aggressive deadlines. * Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Products required.
