LPL is hiring a Senior Vice President of Marketing to drive growth of existing client relationships. The passionate, innovative business-to-business (B2B) marketer will develop integrated strategies that contribute to greater client satisfaction, loyalty, and advocacy - thereby resulting in deepening and retention of relationships. We are looking for a dynamic, savvy leader that appreciates the commercial value of marketing and aligns strategies and storytelling appropriately. Responsibilities: * Develop a broad, global view of the industry and company to formulate marketing strategies that drive tangible business growth and outcomes * Interact with senior executives across the company; serve as a thought leader to business leaders, offering a proactive and assertive voice to shape strategy * Leverage client insights, as well as other data and facts, to prioritize deepening marketing initiatives of highest economic opportunity * Apply a segmented, targeted approach to audiences to personalize marketing communications and achieve highest degree of relevance and action * Architect learning agendas with hypotheses and intentional designs that advance the marketing rigor of the organization, while driving increasing levels of campaign impact * Collaborate with leaders in product and sales to create and execute campaigns that optimize marketing return on investment * Build and leverage deep partnerships with other marketing groups including brand, marketing operations and product marketing to shape and execute marketing initiatives * Develop integrated marketing campaigns - including message and content development as well as channel coordination - to improve the client experience, drive product adoption, and contribute to tangible business outcomes * Lead and influence more cohesive, integrated communication frameworks, nurture and drip programs with clients - to serve the right content to the right audience at the right time * Identify opportunities to help our advisor clients more efficiently run their practices while enabling them to have more effective engagements with their consumer investors * Contribute to the thinking of a world-class marcomm tech stack and data infrastructure that enables segmented, predictive marketing and automated user journeys Requirements: * Embraces fact-based and data-driven decisions and business cases * Skilled at navigating hybrid organizations and aligning many levers and inputs into one cohesive strategy * Reputation for contributing to and building high performing teams; enjoys developing and coaching others to levels of performance not previously achieved An ideal marketer: * Fire-in-the-belly, needs to be reined in vs. pushed forward * Prefers a white sheet of paper, enjoys opportunities to 'build' more than 'maintain' * Egoless collaborator, skilled at channeling the collaboration into a tangible plan that drives business outcomes * Operates with minimal direction and leans into autonomous judgment and action * Comfortable with failure or rejection of ideas, ability to pivot and move forward quickly * Courage to have difficult conversations and leverage differences to shape quality work * Passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion * Familiarity with agile initiatives and work principles nice-to-have Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in marketing or business-related field, MBA a plus * 15+ years marketing experience, including some degree of B2B or B2B2C marketing * History of working closely with C-suite executives Why LPL?
