Shared Services - Financial Planning and Analysis (Full-Time, Day Shift) - Our mission is to continue the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus Christ. The FPA Analyst 1-Revenue Analytics provides comprehensive and coordinated revenue analytics in support of data driven insights and decision making by operational leaders. Collaborates with other Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team members, Hospital Finance, Administration, Service Line Leadership, Managed Care, Contracting, Billing, Coding and other departments to identify opportunities to enhance revenue and improve performance. Assists with the payor performance analytics, payor contract modeling, managed care performance, service line revenue analytics and other forms of revenue analytics and expected reimbursement reporting. Acts as an internal resource for advising and educating management on areas of revenue and reimbursement. Participates in projects of moderate complexity as assigned and may lead projects of low complexity. These services may be provided in support of all LLUH entities. Performs other duties as needed. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field required. Master's in Business Administration preferred. Minimum one year financial analysis or related experience required; preferably in Healthcare, revenue reimbursement, revenue cycle or healthcare contracting.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or finance related certification preferred. Able to extract data from multiple financial systems and manipulates with ease and accuracy. Strong Skills in at least one of the following: Problem Solving, Project Management, Financial or Accounting Reporting, Statistical Analysis, Business Intelligence Tools (Power BI/Tableau), or SQL. Able to read, write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.
