Employee Health (Unscheduled, Day-Shift) -Our mission is to continue the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus Christ. Our core values are compassion, integrity, excellence, teamwork and wholeness.The Employee Health Nurse is responsible for: the annual health assessments of employees and volunteers; administering immunizations; administering flu vaccines; participating in the implementation of educational programs; and assisting in meeting all state and federal regulations in regards to employee health requirements. These duties may be performed either on site or off site. Performs other duties as needed.Associate's Degree in Nursing required. Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred. Minimum one year of clinical nurse experience required; preferably as an employee health or occupational health nurse. Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Valid Driver's License required at time of hire.Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer and software programs necessary to the position; troubleshoot and calibrate patient care equipment. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; be assertive and consistent in following and/or enforcing policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; work independently with minimal supervision; perform basic math functions; manage multiple assignments effectively; work well under pressure; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail.
