Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Manages $10M of digital media investment annually, across major the search networks: Google and Bing
  • Oversees complex bidding models and data outputs to ensure proper allocation of investment to drive positive ROI
  • Core focus includes overseeing Google Shopping Ad campaign performance and product feed optimization
  • Implement best practices for campaign structure, keyword research & expansion, ad copy writing, etc. to help drive continued innovation across multiple paid search accounts
  • Identify and generate reporting on KPIs & data trends; translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Design and execute A/B tests, forecast budgets, and plan long-term strategy
  • Research and evaluate competitors using in-platform and third-party tools to find areas of opportunity
  • Proactively seek out and keep up to date on latest industry news & trends, as well as partnering with vendors to access new products, beta programs, etc.
  • A combination of creative and analytical thinking is crucial to thrive in this role
  • Ensure proper ad visibility, user targeting and budget allocation to reach potential customers on search portals, navigate them to our website and help drive them to the point of purchase
  • Navigate and interpret web analytical tools (i.e. Google Analytics); heavy focus on data measurement
  • Qualifications

    Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) or equivalent from four-year college in Business, Finance, Mathematics. 3-4 years of relevant paid social media experience. E-commerce or omni-channel background a major plus. Omni-channel retails is a plus. Core skillset in quality assurance, site merchandising, or related tasks. Strong proficiency using Google Ads, and Bing Ads products with a deep understanding of feed-based marketing fundamentals (shopping ads). Core skillset in campaign construction, analysis, content optimization and A/B testing, with the ability to implement optimizations at scale. Thorough understanding of audience marketing & segmentation – CRM/loyalty lists, offline events, lookalikes and retargeting. Video and Pinterest promoted pin experience preferred, but not required. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

    Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office – especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in Google Ads UI, Bing Ads, UI, and Google Analytics.
