Group/Division The Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts. The Pro Division supplies solutions for our customers in the mature market, across a wide range of KLA products. The Pro Engineering group is passionate about developing enhancements that provide additional value and help keep our tools running for more than 30 years! This technical program manager position provides an outstanding opportunity for those who are motivated to face challenges both in technical leadership and also in project management fronts. The position will work with multi-functional teams and across multiple wafer metrology technologies to define the product requirements, plan resources, and drive the development process from design to final field deployment. In addition, this position is also responsible for working with marketing to solidify the roadmap of the projects as we continue to support the business. The ideal candidate will have shown success in both product development and project management. Experience in the following: * Product development management * Product lifecycle management * Demonstrated success leading multi-functional team projects Key skills the candidate must have demonstrated include: * Knowledge in wafer metrology applications (KLA Overlay and Thin Films technologies preferred) * Ability to plan and supervise product development projects * Ability to set direction and make decisions based on ambiguous and sometimes conflicting inputs * Comfortable working and aligning across functional boundaries * Excellent presentation skills in front of a variety of audiences * A Bachelor's degree in engineering is required and a Master's is desired. A Bachelor's degree in an engineering field and at least 8 years of experience in a capital equipment or system R&D organization.
