Job Description

JT4 provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. We develop and maintain realistic integrated test and training environments, and prepare our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and air crews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.

RANGE POSITION DESCRIPTION - Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures using MS Project and MS Office products.

Organize, attend and participate in stakeholder meetings.

Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.

Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.

Ensure project deadlines are met.

Determine project changes.

Provide administrative support as needed.

Undertake project tasks as required.

Develop project strategies as requested.

Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.

Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.

Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.

Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.

Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.

Oversee the execution of project-related procurements to ensure their completion within schedule parameters.

Act as the liaison between annex-level Purchasing team, projects, and PMO.

Support monitoring the performance of project-related vendors to ensure compliance with subcontract requirements. Notify Purchasing and PMO if vendors are not performing as required.

REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE - Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Project Management desired. At a minimum, must possess 2-5 years project management experience and related to government contract performance preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills are required. Position may require travel of 10% or less. Position requires the ability to maintain a Security Clearance. Applicant must possess a valid state issued driver's license. An understanding and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) in order to comply with governmental policies and procedures would be a plus. Must possess a current state issued driver's license. Must qualify for and maintain a Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
