Job Description The Manager, Media Strategy reports in to the Director/Sr. Director and partners with our Connections' Sellers (the division that leads national cross-platform sales for key advertisers) to develop cross-platform media plans that meet advertisers' objectives, yield measurable results and drive ad revenue. The Manager is responsible for partnering with sellers on a select list of accounts (as determined by their Director/Sr. Director) to develop clear client media briefs based on a thorough understanding of each clients' business/brand objective, KPIs and success metrics. To supplement the client brief, the Manager works closely with the National Research team to obtain additional data via 1st or 3rd party research to help inform their recommended strategy. Based on the media brief, supplemental research and a thorough knowledge of iHeartMedia's assets and capabilities, the Manager develops a recommended iHeartMedia multi-platform media strategy. When the strategy has been developed, the Manager leads the team in the use of iHM's proprietary planning tools to develop an optimized topline cross-platform media plan including the iHM platform mix and weight levels. When the media strategy and topline plan is finalized, the Manager, provides appropriate direction to the individual iHeartMedia platform divisions (Premiere Networks, Total Traffic & Weather Network, Local Spot, Events and Digital) to build their specific media plans/schedules. Upon receiving individual plans from the platform divisions, the Manager creates a detailed consolidated summary plan to share with Sales and other relevant internal teams. The Manager works closely day-to-day with Sales, Marketing, Research and Revenue Management in the development of all strategies/plan recommendations.
