Purpose: ~ Senior Manager, Business Solutions Analysis is responsible for supporting the Hyundai and Genesis Safety Office Division. This role will also be directly engaging with Hyundai Affiliates and 3rd party partners to develop and maintain technical capabilities required to support business objectives, primarily with Safety Office technology initiatives. Business acumen will be critical in articulating to executives the business benefits and enablement from prudent technology investments. In this capacity, this role will work with senior business and affiliate executives to develop technology roadmaps, manage technology portfolio for investments, maximize development efficiency and expedite time to market for all key technology initiatives. In addition, this role will be responsible for building detailed business cases, managing technology and vendor selection and socializing the importance of a given initiative senior leadership. Success will require sophisticated process, technology and project management skills, as well as strong analytical skills. Major Responsibilities: ~ Engage with Hyundai/Genesis Safety Office Division to fully understand their technology needs and work collaboratively to identify business benefits and scope a solution to meet those requirements. ~ Gather high level business requirements and develop sound benefit/ROI calculations to support project funding. ~ Estimate funding levels required to meet Hyundai/Genesis service level expectations and project ambitions. ~ Exercise a cross-divisional perspective in prioritizing and funding information technology projects. ~ Manage the level 1 process for project identification, definition, prioritization, and funding. ~ Champion continuous improvement and or efficiency initiatives within the Safety Office business division and technology partners. ~ Lead the collection and propagation of new and leading technologies/solutions that will provide a competitive advantage in the industry. ~ Lead the facilitation of high level solutioning with the enterprise and/or 3rd Party solutions. ~ Manage and foster the relationship between Hyundai/Genesis and technology affiliates and partners. ~ Manage the creation, collection and reporting of key performance metrics necessary to ensure optimal IT maintenance and development. ~ Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Information Systems and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices. ~ Manage resource to partner with technology affiliates and/or 3rd party partners to deliver projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths; and managing business relationships. Authority: ~ This position is expected to provide critical thinking to propose ideas or solutions that are in the best interest for the organization. Hiring, termination approving time cards and other Manager related duties are required for this position. Education: ~ Must be a high school graduate. ~ Bachelor's degree preferred. ~ Master's degree a plus. Related Experience: ~ Eight years of planning, safety related process/technology, technology audit or operations experience in automotive with an understanding of IT organizations, their purpose, and the development cycle. ~ Experience with agencies such as NHTSA in franchise model a plus ~ Management consulting experience a plus. ~ Experience applying common development methodologies, financial analysis and project management techniques. ~ Experience creating and presenting executive facing presentations and other material. Skill/Knowledge: ~ Strong analytical skills and mastery of analytical tools (e.g. Excel, MicroStrategies, Tableau, etc.). ~ The ability to manage by influence as well as authority. ~ Ability to work on multiple projects and set priorities. ~ Ability to identify/quantify business opportunity as it applies to technology. ~ Ability to assess operational and strategic strengths and make recommendations to leverage or augment strengths and weaknesses. ~ Strong written and oral communication skills.
