Under general supervision, the Handyman/Driver has a dual role providing repairs and maintenance to community and residents as well as transportations services for residents. Performs routine repairs to the interior and exterior of the community per established policies, procedures, Company standards of quality, cleanliness, resident satisfaction, safety and security and regulatory agency requirements. Provides transportation services ensuring the safe travel of the residents, visitors, and team members of the community. Assists with carrying of packages, groceries, and luggage, transports residents in cars, busses and/or vans to appointments, local shopping, and/or activities; provides assistance to the residents; and maintains and may clean the vehicle(s). As a representative and team member of the company, this position is expected to present oneself in a manner that reflects professionalism and ensures resident satisfaction.
* Education - High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Experience/Training - Minimum of one year previous handyman and driver experience preferred. One to three years of driving experience with a clean DMV record. Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
* Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - Must possess a valid Class B, if driving vans, or Class C Arizona Driver's License. Must have clearance with Arizona Department of Motor Vehicles with no serious violations.
