Job Responsibilities * Coordinate all planning activities for the Facilities & Engineering department, excluding IFM program scope * Lead continuous improvement and optimization of Maintenance Planning business processes and tools * Develop, monitor, and report out Planning KPIs * Translate work requests into detailed work plans/work orders that include technical information and materials such as manuals, drawings and P&IDs, work and safety instructions, permits, and accurate estimates of craftspeople, equipment, tools, materials, parts, and other required resources. Follow up completed work plans/work orders to monitor plan quality and equipment performance trends. * Assist in the identification and ordering of materials needed to perform routine and non-routine maintenance activities * Collect and organize technical data from Facility Services personnel, equipment manufacturers, equipment users, contractors, and engineering personnel and translate this data into comprehensive job plans to aid Facilities Services personnel in the execution of maintenance activities * Enter maintenance job plans / activities into CMMS, complete with resource skills identified to perform work and any scheduling constraints identified for scheduling. * Translate department maintenance SOPs into effective SAP maintenance plans integrated with production runs, shutdown activities and resource availability. Ensure that these plans are maintained as maintenance strategies are revised and/or retired * Analyze and coordinate work plans and work orders to ensure that facility maintenance activities follow Document Change Control and Engineering Change Control policies, procedures and practices * Provide routine and ad hoc reports of facilities and maintenance related information to management, service requestors, and QA/QC. * Obtain vendor quotes, request applicable POs, initiate required SHE permits, and ensure work plans include all Return to Service requirements for vendor performed maintenance activities Job Requirements: Experience: * Minimum 7 years' experience as a maintenance technician, maintenance technical specialist, or maintenance planner in a regulated industry. * Proficiently with the Computerized Maintenance Management System module of SAP * Leadership experience with history of proactively identifying and resolving issues. Knowledge/Skills/Competencies * Superior interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral. * Proficient at reading and interpreting construction and engineering drawings. * Fully competent in a wide variety of computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. * Operate Windows based computerized maintenance management system (SAP PM). * Use of a wide variety of standard and specialized computer applications * Working knowledge of cGMPs relating to facilities and equipment maintenance and calibration * Demonstrated experience planning maintenance activities in a manufacturing or utility industry Education * Two or four year degree in a related technical discipline or extensive relevant experience. #LI-AD1 #ptcareers
