Facebook is looking to hire a leader for its Gaming developer partnerships. We are looking for someone who can serve as a general manager for our gaming developer business and partner deeply with product organization. In this role, the candidate will need to manage a global team of gaming professionals as well as lead a large cross-functional team of consumer/developer marketing, product marketing, partner engineering, planning and operations. You should also expect to handle day-to-day operations and partnership management with many of our most important gaming partners, develop and execute on strategic partner initiatives and advocate internally and externally for our social gaming partners. Head of Developer Partnerships - Gaming Responsibilities * Build, train, manage and grow a high-performing team of talented and motivated partner-facing individuals Directly lead and manage a global team and lead cross functional business teams Create and execute FB Gaming developer strategy and roadmap based on partner and product priorities as well as market dynamics Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, design, marketing, finance, and partnerships Define, build and own adoption of FB Gaming platforms (including mobile SDK, instant games and cloud gaming) to end-users via developers and platform partners Establish market requirements, produce qualitative and quantitative analysis of product performance, aggregate feedback, explore new strategic opportunities, inform the product roadmap with enhanced or new functionality, and ensure product and industry impact optimized for a diverse user community - both country-by-country and globally Represent Facebook and provide thought leadership and perspectives in external meetings with executives from other companies Manage and allocate partnerships budget to drive the best results Build, develop, retain and motivate a diverse team while recruiting for new members and continually raising the bar for talent and capabilities Ability to travel internationally, up to 20% of the time with flexibility to work across time zones and influence remote teams Develop a system, operational cadence and playbooks that enable a global field force to execute as one-unit while taking into account regional nuances Think creatively and long-term with the largest companies in the world to build durable, long-term partnerships by understanding their strategy and what matters to them Work with teams outside of gaming to stitch together cross-FB value propositions for partners as well as making our internal products stronger. This includes AR/VR, sales teams and other product organizations Minimum Qualifications * BA/BS degree 15+ years experience, including 10+ years of partner or partner facing experience Experience in the gaming industry especially with creators and influencers Management and coaching experience Track record of initiating and driving business opportunities Project management experience leading and executing multiple projects Communication and presentation experience and experience clarifying and summarizing issues Experience thinking strategically about issues, leading to recommendations and action plans Preferred Qualifications * Interest in Facebook products, gaming, and creators/influencers Business development experience negotiating complex media or Internet deals Locations About the Facebook company Facebook's mission is to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together.
