The Group Technical Program Management for Privacy will have both deep technical and program expertise that can drive results with agility and leadership and serve as an inspirational team leader that can gain the support and efforts of stakeholders teams and task owners. Demonstrated experience building, grooming, and mentoring technical program management or engineering teams of 6 or more, and a proven track record of scaling infrastructure in a highly transformative environment. Group Technical Program Manager, Privacy Responsibilities * Build and lead a team of TPM's capable of scaling with Facebook Privacy through a period of continued high-growth while forging tight partnerships with managers and engineers across infrastructure, product and privacy teams. Support, mentor and nurture the existing technical program management team, showing care and empathy in the face of adversity and complex situations. Demonstrate an ability to structure a highly cross functional, multi-faceted, organization and optimize it for execution, including attracting top tier talent and filling out gaps in the existing team quickly to accommodate growth. Build strategy and vision for privacy infrastructure to solve for privacy requirements at scale for all FB products in close collaboration with product, infra and privacy leaders across the company. Support technical aspects of critical initiatives and features in the Privacy Experiences space, including contributing to end to end design of technological solutions and implementation planning, working with the team to set priority and tracking progress, and working cross functionally to ensure implementation scope and delivery times are aligned with product requirements and expectations. Measure and improve efficiency and effectiveness of processes that are working well and build the next level of improvements, setting standards for efficient execution at scale. Serve as an evangelist for the team and overall culture, both internally and externally. Manage from the front, prioritize, and drive the bigger mission forward by translating vision into results. Minimum Qualifications * B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline. 7+ years of software engineering, systems engineering or technical product/program management experience. 3+ years experience as People Manager. Experience either in an established data storage, real-time monitoring, or mid-sized growth stage company. Experience communicating behind program architectures, including how and why they were run, and the systems put in place to run them. Knowledge in technical program management methodologies. Experience moving technical or engineering programs from concept to completion and experience articulating the impact using metrics, growth examples, return. Experience with Caffe2, Distributed Learning, leveraging technologies such as Java, Python, Shell, C, C++, Objective C, Hack (PHP), JavaScript, Dataswarm. Experience with scale, production with emphasis on Reliability, Efficiency, Scalability. Experience implementing instrumentation, metrics and monitoring solutions.
