Title: Public Entity Casualty Facultative Underwriter Company: Everest Reinsurance Company Job Category: Underwriting Job Description: Everest Reinsurance, a member of Everest Re Group, Ltd., is seeking an Public Entity Casualty Facultative Underwriter. As a key member of the underwriting team, you will be utilizing your authority to underwrite and price business for casualty and public entity lines of business. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Responsible for new and renewal underwriting of public entity (commercial casualty / professional) business as part of the Everest Re Casualty Facultative team. This position can include underwriting individual risk and automatic facultative business. * Establish relationships with wholesale brokers, insureds, reinsurance intermediaries and ceding companies. * Assist in development and execution of business strategy necessary to drive submission flow and binding of profitable business. Work Experience and Qualifications * Proven track record with 5 - 7 years of casualty underwriting (a minimum of 3 years of public entity experience.) * Demonstrate a high level of responsiveness and focus on supporting brokers and cedents. * Ability to market the Everest business with clients and brokers. * Able to analyze and interpret risk data * Possess strong presentation, communication, and business development skills. * Ability to travel a minimum of 20% * Reinsurance a plus but not required.
