Content Producer/Writer - Marketing

Job Summary: We are seeking an action-oriented individual with a great writing portfolio to support our marketing team! This person will work directly with our Director of Marketing to contribute to campaigns and learn more about strategic content marketing.Job Duties:Research and create relevant and compelling contentPromote content on social channelsManage and generate website visit reports and newsletter engagement reportsUpdate and optimize for SEO for company websiteEdit, fact-check, and proofread written pieces before publicationEdit and light design of corporate collateralAdminister NPS surveysShoot and edit short videos using Adobe Premiere (preferred)Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)Interview industry professionals and incorporate their views in blog postsDevelop and maintain an intimate knowledge of clients' businessesSupport the marketing team in daily administrative tasksPersonality Traits:Loves to own tasks and projectsCuriousCreativeVery proactive and leads others when appropriateDetail-orientedPassion for retailDesire to learnJob Qualifications:Possesses a writing portfolioExceptional verbal and written communication skillsWordPress knowledge (Required)One year of MS Office experience (Required)Mailchimp or ConstantContact Experience (Preferred)Adobe Premiere Experience (Preferred)Familiarity with marketing strategies (Preferred)Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Online analytics and Google Adwords) (Preferred)Pursuing or achieved a Bachelor's in a related field (Preferred)Job Type: Part-timeJob Hours: 29 hours within the time constraints of Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
