Dolby's Music Partnerships Team is seeking a Senior Industry Relations Manager to join us in inspiring Industry adoption of the evolving Dolby Atmos Music ecosystem. You will partner with creatives and label A&R teams, to excite and entice creation and distribution in Dolby technologies. The individual must be a self-starter, motivated by working in a fast-paced environment, resourceful, solution-oriented, and bring a strong sense of passion and creativity. Responsibilities: * Develop relationships with creative community, music label partners, and trade organizations * Demonstrate and build excitement for Dolby technologies across the creative community * Implement the latest trends, newest content types, and emerging technologies into creative direction to maintain the interest and engagement of creatives and label partners Skills and Requirements: * 5+ years industry experience * Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience * Proven experience in hip-hop, rap, and R&B * Understanding of music creative process of from composition to production * Demonstrated relevant music and artist relations experience * Build on and leverage strong network of music creation experts, including mix engineers, producers, and music label A&R * Consistent track record of meeting deadlines and taking initiative to make confident and well-informed decisions (this is key) * Work well under pressure, focused, and effective * Results-oriented, upbeat, with a strong passion to learn and succeed * Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills, and a strong sense of professionalism * Frequent travel required Ideal traits: * Passionate about music * (Demonstrated relevant music / creative relations experience is ideal) * Ability to build on and leverage strong network of music creation experts, including mix engineers, producers, and music label A&R * Consistent track record of meeting deadlines and taking initiative to make confident and well-informed decisions (this is key) * Results-oriented, upbeat, with a strong passion to learn and succeed * Works well under pressure, focused, and effective * Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills, and a strong sense of professionalism Dolby will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of San Francisco Police Code, Article 49, and Administrative Code, Article 12 Equal Employment Opportunity: Dolby is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
