Truck Driver Job Responsibilities:Drive and operate trucksFollow instructions; locate and read location and road mapsPre-inspect truckPick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.Load and unload cargoResponsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all timesComplete and verify paperwork for accuracyUpdate job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
Pay:Starting pay at $0.50 per mile with an estimated 2,500 miles per weekPaid bi-weeklyPaid vacationMedical, dental, and vision benefitsDedicated customersReferral bonus program
Truck Driver Skills and Qualifications:Traffic laws/ DOT regulations/ driving knowledgePallet jack experience required; forklift experience preferredAbility to lift 80 pounds repeatedly throughout the dayAble to pass random drug testsClean driving recordNo DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven yearsListening and verbal communication skillsDependabilityGreat attitude
Education, Experience, and Age Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentCDL '“ Class ACertificate from an accredited CDL school23 years or olderHAZMAT preferredAt least six months of OTR experience
