The incumbent performs the primary function of an RN in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients. The incumbent assists physicians with the development and implementation of wound treatment plans and participates in performance improvement review activities. The incumbent acts within the guidelines of federal and state laws, Joint Commission Standards and professional and ethical practice
* Recent 3 years wound care nurse experience required
* Verbal and written communication skills and computer skills required
* California RN license.
* Wound Care Certification required within 90-days of hire or transfer.
* BLS certification (Must be through the American Heart Association)
* Recent 5 years wound care nurse experience preferred
