The EVS Lead assists EVS management in the daily operation of the EVS department. Provides direction and guidance to staff, and ensures that all assigned functions are completed in a timely manner according to hospital policy. EVS Lead will function as a resource to the staff, provide orientation/ training as needed, and functions as relief shift supervisor in the absence of a department supervisor/manager. Will perform job functions of an Environmental Services Associate, based on staffing and patient care needs.

* Minimum one-year experience in a lead or Supervisor capacity required, with one year EVS/housekeeping experience required.
* Requires basic education to understand and follow standard practice or oral and written instructions, able to read and write, use simple arithmetic, keep simple records, or use simple office machines
* Fire Safety card required within 90 days of hire.
