Senior Manager, Global HR Business Partner

Join your next favorite team!The Senior HR Manager for Finance and IT is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting talent strategies and programs for 2 large size client groups with significant complexity, to enhance the leadership effectiveness of managers and the active acquisition of talent, performance management, development and succession planning. In doing so, you will lead and be responsible for strategic projects (which may span globally) and drive execution and implementation of these strategies.You will be part of the Beckman Coulter Diagnostics HR Team and report to the Sr Director Global Human Resources Business Partner. If you thrive in a complex environment, linking human resources strategies to business objectives - read on.In this role you will have an opportunity to:* Advise leaders on talent management and organizational design challenges.* Anticipate challenges and recommend innovative organizational solutions for complex problems.* Assist in preparation for talent review and leads talent review sessions further into the client organizations* Drive innovation and improvement in human resources as well as in client group* Deliver organizational change consultation to clients* Drive and manage workforce planning and headcount management to align strategies with business priorities* Provide consultation and training on engagement & retention of associates.* Drive and manage performance management processes; leading performance calibration annually, coaching leaders on tough conversations, co-creating performance improvement plans and development plans, and ensuring leaders are following through with the annual process.* Assist leaders and teams with defining and developing engagement action planning.* Collaborate with clients on internal movement decisions; transfers, promotions, job enhancements and ensures decisions are in line with talent and skill gaps, development plans and career pathing. Ensures that all movement aligns with company leveling guides and policy.* Partner with client group to effectively acquire professional, management and leadership level talent for assigned client group. Develop detailed onboarding plans for new leaders.* Conduct complex Employee Relations investigations and consult with managers and ER counsel on outcomes and next steps.* Report monthly metrics to HR leadership and aim to ensure that countermeasures are in place when not hitting targets. Uses data to coach clients and drive correct behaviors.* Will mentor and coach more junior HR colleagues and support site HR leader on confidential projects.The essential job requirements are:* BA in Human Resources or related field with 14+ years of HR experience or MA in Human Resources or related field with 12+ years of experience of which 5+ years as an HR Business Partner* Successful experience managing complex, cross-functional, global initiatives, processes, or projects* Experience leading or contributing to medium to large scale re-orgs, org alignment, workforce planning effortsThe preferred requirements include:* SPHR preferredAt Beckman Coulter, we are committed to advancing health care for every person by applying the power of science, technology and the passion and creativity of our teams to enhance the diagnostic laboratory's role in improving healthcare outcomes.
