To administer and evaluate the employee health services for CHS. To ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations. To provide health education strategies based on the assessed health needs of the client population. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES Administers tuberculosis-screening program for CHS. Continuously evaluates program to ensure compliance with all regulations including OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and Joint Commission, as well as other applicable state and federal laws. Evaluates the process and implements changes and improvements. Administers Respiratory Protection program for CHS. Continuously evaluates program to ensure compliance with all regulations including OSHA and Cal/OSHA, as well as other applicable state and federal laws. Evaluates the process and implements changes and improvements. Administers all immunization programs including, but not limited to Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Varicella, MMR, TD/TDaP, Pneumovax, Influenza, and Meningococcal, to ensure compliance and promote employee health and patient safety, in accordance CDC recommendations, OSHA, and Cal/OSHA, as well as other applicable state and federal laws. Coordinates the care of employees involved in potential infectious disease exposures, including exposures involving blood-borne pathogens. Ensures proper notification, treatment, and reporting of work-related exposures and collaborates with appropriate resources to determine and implement corrective actions. Ensures compliance with all regulations including CDC recommendations, OSHA and Cal/OSHA, as well as other applicable state and federal laws. Assists in coordination of treatment for employees with work-related injuries and illnesses in compliance with the California Labor Code, as well as other applicable state and federal laws. Attends, participates, and represents Employee Health and Safety on various committees, task forces, and projects. Works with various managers and departments to evaluate potential employee health and safety issues. QUALIFICATIONS Current California Registered Nursing Licensure, Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office package. Preference to the possession of a BSN, Certification in Occupational Health, and experience with Occupational Health computer software.
