The Operating Room Nurse Manager will work with a dedicated team of perioperative nurses, surgical technicians, and allied health professionals to provide patient centered care in a welcoming and technologically advanced setting.
The Operating Room Nurse Manager will report to a Perioperative Services Nurse Director. Experienced Pre-Op, PACU and Sterile Processing leadership will support the OR Manager and this team is known for their open communication. Ensuring fluid patient flow between the preoperative units, improving operating room efficiencies, and consistently aiming to improve staff engagement will be part of the OR Manager’s position. This hospital has high quality metrics and performs well on operating room turnover time, block schedule utilization, and first case on time starts.
This hospital is outfitted with 12 surgical suites. The Operating Room Nurse Manager will have oversight of approximately 60 employees. The Surgery Nurse Manager will be supported with experienced charge nurses and quality nursing staff many of which have their CNOR credentials. This hospital performs a variety of surgical services including: orthopedic, general, GYN, robotics, cardiac, Neuro, ophthalmology, ENT and many more.
