The OR Nurse Manager will work for a healthcare organization that has received numerous awards and honors for high-quality healthcare. The Nurse Manager of Surgery will report directly to the Nurse Director of the OR (Operating Room). A perioperative team composed of experienced preop, intraop, and PACU nurses, will help determine appropriate patient care and specialized rehabilitation. The Operating Room Nurse Manager will be in charge of ensuring that surgery staff continue to develop and achieve established hospital standards of care. This hospital is looking for an OR Nurse Manager who can empower teams to embrace and implement change that will improve clinical, operational, and financial performances.
The Operating Room Nurse Manager will oversee 8 operating rooms that perform approximately 40 surgical cases per day. The Nurse Manager of Surgery will handle department resources, daily operations, staff education, patient satisfaction, and will address areas needing performance improvements. In addition, The Nurse Manager of Surgery will also be responsible for external regulatory and survey requirements to ensure this perioperative team is always running at survey ready levels.
