One of the largest Healthcare Systems in California is looking for a Director of Med Surg to join their Regional Hospital and continue to lead this hospital to success.

This 250-bed hospital is located just North of Los Angeles. It serves residents from Santa Clarita Valley to Lake Los Angeles. This recently improved Medical Center now features a Rehabilitation Institute, inpatient and outpatient surgery, a large STEMI Receiving Center, a Center for Wound Care, and a 24-hour Emergency Department. The Director of Medical Surgical will be fortunate to be a part of a highly dedicated team that serves their patients with the highest quality of care. This Director of Med/Surg is a mentor to nursing staff and prides themselves on their collaboration with all Medical Surgical staff. The Med Surg Director will:

  • Direct, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate delivery of patient care with 24-hour department responsibility.
  • Maintain operational aspects of the patient care unit in collaboration with support services.
  • Be accountable for developing teams to improve core measures and other joint commission initiatives.
  • Identify needs of the nursing staff to resolve issues, improve patient care, and support nursing leadership.
