The Cardiac/Telemetry RN will work in a unit that provides noninvasive testing, diagnostic cardiac catherization and interventional cardiology. The Cardiac Staff Nurse will assess, diagnose, plan, and help their patient by providing intervention and evacuation according to their individual need. The Cardiac and Telemetry staff nurse will work in both departments and follow their patients through their healing process. The Cardiology RN will be fortunate to work in a Certified STEMI Treatment Cente, which is one of 33 STEMI Receiving Centers in Los Angeles County. The Cardiac Registered Nurse will treat STEMI Receiving patients and evaluate when they are ready to be moved to the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The Cardiac Staff Nurse will be fortunate to work in one of the most award-winning departments in the hospital; Receiving Best in Heart Failure Care, Quality, and mentioned by the American Heart Association.
