Administrator Ambulatory Surgery Center RN
A brand new ambulatory surgery center in southern California is actively interviewing for a Nurse Administrator to lead their newly opened ambulatory surgery center. This state of the art outpatient surgical center has just recently opened their doors and is going through initial CMS surveys. The Nurse Administrator will work with the physician owners and local nurse consultants to write policies, procedures and gain initial AAAHC accreditation. The physician owners are well-respected in the local community and will have an immediate patient pipeline to fill the operating rooms.
The Nurse Administrator will utilize their clinical background and business acumen to lead both clinical and operations at the ambulatory surgery center. The Nurse Administrator will report to the physician board and be compensated with a salary and lucrative bonus structure. The Nurse Administrator will strategically build their leadership and nursing team. The Nurse Administrator will provide appropriate staffing, promotion and employee management. Additional responsibilities will include working with local payors, physicians and patients to ensure satisfaction, engagement and practice growth.
The outpatient surgery center will focus on orthopedic spine and joint surgeries. The surgeons have a local network of physical therapy and ancillary services to provide comprehensive support and rehabilitation services for their patients. The Nurse Administrator that takes on this rare opportunity will thrive in this challenging position.
