Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assist completing Request for Quotations (RFQs) and negotiate with Local Distribution Companies (LDCs) and pipeline companies ensuring lowest cost transportation.
Provide support in negotiations with third party suppliers of wholesale gas and power for CNG stations and LNG plants.
Monitor and coordinate day-to-day gas supplies at all LNG plants and CNG stations.
Make recommendations for developing price risk management tools and monitor Company's on-going price risk exposure.
Determine appropriate gas loss and unaccounted for factor to use for appropriate cost of gas by station (shrinkage factor).
Assist in developing and implementing power cost savings strategies in coordination with the Operations department.
Review and make recommendations on fuel procurement strategies for RFPs with the Marketing department.
Coordinate sourcing and implementation of new model designs, running changes, and cost reductions with suppliers.Assist in creating cost models to drive decisions including should-cost models, make-buy studies, and supplier comparisons.
Identify areas for cost efficiencies in order to improve overall cost of complex nationwide supply chain.
Assist in process development and improvement to address growing business needs and incorporate lessons learned.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or related field, 3-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Strong ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, financial analysis, and Accounting fundamentals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Strong analytical abilities and high attention to details.
Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications and advanced internet skills
