Cisco Meraki is seeking a highly results-oriented Distribution Account Manager to help rapidly scale our business through our distribution channel across the United States. You will be responsible for generating passion and enthusiasm for Cisco Meraki amongst our distributor and partner community, encouraging a desire to sell our products, problem solving with our operations team to enable smooth transactions, and driving partner-led revenue.You will also work closely with the inside sales, field sales, marketing, training and operations teams to build positive relationships in new and existing channels. Ideal candidates will have strong critical thinking skills, executive presence, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, creativity, and a passion for growing a business. Successful candidates will possess an ambitious spirit.You will:* Develop, support and strengthen relationships with executives, sales, marketing, and operations in our distributors.* Implement business development and marketing plans with assigned distributors to drive exceptional revenue growth with our 2-tier partners.* Coordinate and conduct sales and technical training for distributors and our 2-Tier partners to drive capability deep into the channel* Collaborate with the Americas Channel and Distribution teams to support the overall growth of our channel* Effectively communicate programs, promotions, and product launches across Cisco and distributors to maximise the impact of key initiatives and collaborationYou have:* Consistent track record of efficiency and over-performance in sales or partner management role* 5+ Years' experience in channel management, IT distribution or channel sales. Software/SaaS experience will be highly regarded.* Autonomous, team-player, hard-worker, self-motivated, multi-tasking and influential* Strong communication and presentation skills, strong negotiation and closing skills* Must be located near a major airport in the United States* Able to travel 25% - 50% of the time* University Degree preferredYou are:* Open and Dependable - you think the best of those around you, ask questions to confirm this and avoid jumping to conclusions.
