Your primary responsibilities include supervising food production and service; ensuring that food served is nutritious and appealing, supervises staff, review and update policies and procedures, implement and maintain quality and cost control procedures; and maintain professional proficiency and skills required for professional practice.Job Requirements:* College Degree in Nutrition, Food Service Management or related field - Required* Bachelor's Degree - Nutrition, Food Service Management or related field - Preferred* Dietetic Technician, Registered Commission on Dietetic Registration - Preferred* Dietetic Technician Cert - Certified Dietetic Management - Preferred* Three (3) years of supervisory experience in Nutrition and/or Food Service Experience required (Healthcare food service experience is highly desirable)* Knowledge of food trends with a focus on quality, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.* Knowledge and experience with therapeutic diet preparation.* Strong leadership, management and mentoring skills.* Demonstrated knowledge of applicable health and safety standards.* Communication skills both written and verbal and ability to communicate with management, client, customer and associate levels.* Working Title: Supervisor, Patient Food Services - Full Time - Days* Department: Pat Food Svc Stnd* Business Entity: Clinical & Support Services* City: Los Angeles* Job Category: Patient Services* Job Specialty: Food Services* Position Type: Full-time* Shift Length: 8 hour shift* Shift Type: Full-time
